In a warm winter day, a teenage girl and her drug addicted mother search for her stepdad at titty bars and strip clubs. When the girl reveals a secret to her mother about her stepfather, the two must process this information while driving on the highway in the setting Texas sun. The film explores a culture of objectifying women, generational differences and how mothers and daughters might view this culture differently.
